John Joyce

Qualified from the Royal London Hospital in 1983 and practiced dentistry for 8 years in General Practice before joining HDS in 1992.

Principal dentists and Practice owner.

Derives great satisfaction from treating his patients regularly over many years and getting to know several generations of the same family. Attends regular clinical Courses and meetings. Has a special interest in restorative and cosmetic treatments. Has completed a year-long course in Advanced Aesthetic Dentistry uses high-level magnification and illumination to deliver precision dentistry. Has close and long-standing affiliations with the most respected specialist clinicians. Regularly accepts patients recommended by professional colleagues. Takes great care in treatment planning, explanation, communication and patients' informed choice. He is experienced in sedation techniques and facial aesthetic procedures.

Dr Carita Wegner

Qualified from University of Turku, Finland in 1998 and has been practicing dentistry since that date. Firstly in Finland, then Devon before joining HDS in 2001.  Dedicated to providing high quality care in a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere.

Special interests in restorative dentistry and is currently working towards a postgraduate diploma (part time).  I regularly attend courses both in the UK and abroad and have completed a year long course in Advanced Aesthetic Dentistry.

My leisure time involves traveling to different countries and I always enjoy comparing my travel notes with my patients.

Dr Michael O' Regan (BDS NUI)

Qualified from University College Cork in 1984 and has practised General Dentistry in the UK since then in Wallington, Surrey, Benfleet Essex. He joined Hockley Dental Surgery in 2003.

In 2008 he began working as a clinical tutor at Southend Outreach, University of Essex.

Enjoys all aspects of General Dentistry and employing the highest clinical standards in practice.

He regularly attends postgraduate lectures and meetings.

Dr Gail Robson

Qualified from University of Otago, New Zealand in 1993.and has been practicing in New Zealand and Great Britain, starting at HDS in December 2007.
I provide a high level of general dentistry but my interest lie in cosmetic dentistry.  This includes crowns, veneers and Invisalign (how to straighten teeth almost invisibly) I also provide intravenous sedation.
In conjunction with professional and high standard dental treatment I carry out facial aesthetic treatment, wrinkle reducing injections and fillers.  I enjoy my work and take great satisfaction from caring for and getting to know my patients
