Our nurses
 Helen Wortley
I have been at HDS for 11 years, coming to the practice straight from school. I qualified in 1998 (NEBDN) and registered with GDC 2008. (Legal requirements). . I have been appointed Head Nurse and am responsible for ensuring the highest standards are practiced uniformly by all the nurses within the Practice. My duties include nursing and working on reception. I keep up to date with the changes in dentistry and attend courses and meetings, most recently being basic life support. I have attended a sedation course. I enjoy working as part of the HDS team, providing a welcoming and friendly atmosphere

 Nikki Wigglesworth
I became a member of the dental team at HDS in 2005 and qualified in 2006 (NEBDN) registering with GDC in 2008. (Legal requirement).
I enjoy all aspects of dentistry and compliment this by attending courses and reading journals.

 Carmel King
I became a member of HDS in 2007 as a new-comer to dentistry. I have taken and passed the NEBDN examination in 2008 after extensive combined college and in-surgery training.. I enjoy all aspects of nursing, working with dentists and hygienists. I hope to fulfil my career in dentistry over the next few years by attending courses and achieving skills to further my career.

 Kelly Martin
I have been at HDS for 10 years, qualifying in 2000 (NEBDN) and registered with GDC 2008 (Legal requirement) I keep up to date by attending conferences and courses, including first aid and sedation. My duties include nursing and working on reception which I find rewarding, as I do enjoy meeting patients and welcoming them to our practice.

I have been a dental nurse for 8 years, qualifying in 2002 (NEBDN) and registered with GDC in 2008. (Legal requirement) I became a member of HDS in April 2008 and enjoy working in the surgery and on reception. I keep up to date with my professional development by attending courses. I enjoy meeting people and being part of the team at HDS.
